Kathi Diamant has worked in broadcasting since joining the CBS affiliate WNCT-TV’s “Carolina Today” morning talk show in North Carolina in 1980. After stints at KOVR-TV (ABC, Channel 11) in Sacramento/Stockton, CA and KFMB-TV (CBS, Channel 8) in San Diego, Kathi was appointed Anchor/Producer for On-Air Fundraising at KPBS-TV and Radio from 2004-2008. She has participated in dozens of TV pledge campaigns, interviewing Dr. Wayne Dyer, Ken Blanchard, Rick Steves, Andre Rieu, the Osmond Family, and most recently, Pat Boone for his new PBS Special, Love Letters in the Sands of Time. In 2006, she was invited to visit internationally acclaimed violinist and conductor André Rieu in his home town of Maastricht in the Netherlands. She served as a writer and narrator for PBS “Panda Tales.” She has also worked as a producer for “”Achieving Your Dreams with Dr. Ken Blanchard” and “Excuses Begone!” In 1985, Kathi received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in 1985, in 2007 was inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
